Last Second Touchdown Has Chiefs Ready to Go for Week 1

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Lake View Chiefs held their annual 'Meet the Chiefs' and scrimmage at San Angelo Stadium Thursday night.

Along with meeting various members of the Football Team, Band, Volleyball Team, and more the Chiefs held their final scrimmage of the preseason against the Kermit Yellow Jackets. The scrimmage featured a drives by the first and second team and ended with a live half.

During the initial drives the biggest stand out for the Chiefs was their defensive line. The Kermit run heavy offense did not reach the end zone during the initial drives. The second team reps also boded well for the Chiefs. The second stringers held their own with the help of very athletic young talent.

When it went into the live half though the Chief's offense was all anyone could talk about. The first drive did not result in a touchdown. Every other time the Chief's touched the ball they scored on the first play. This included the last drive where they scored with less than a minute to go in the game.

Here is Head Coach Hector Guevara after the game.
