Cowboys Sign Offensive Superstar to New Deal

ARLINGTON— A superstar player for the Dallas Cowboys has reached an agreement with the team after sitting out all training camp.

All-Pro offensive lineman Zack Martin and the Dallas Cowboys have reached a new deal. Over the next two seasons, Martin will receive over $18 million each season and both years are fully guaranteed. On his old deal, Martin had no guaranteed money left.

Martin has sat out all training camp due to wanting a new deal after other offensive linemen in the league signing more lucrative deals. Martin did have an actual gripe as he is currently one of the best guards not just in the NFL, but to ever play the game.

Martin was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2014 NFL Draft and has been elite since stepping on the field.

This is a no-brainer move for the Cowboys to get done. Dallas really did not do a lot to add depth on the offensive line this offseason and the Cowboys need as much help up front as they could get. Now, one of the best to ever play guard is back in the fold for the Cowboys.
