NFL Superstar Requests Trade After Meeting with Ownership

INDIANAPOLIS— A superstar NFL running back has requested a trade after a conversation with ownership.

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has requested a trade from the team after having a conversation with Colts’ owner Jim Irsay. According to Ian Rapoport, Taylor wants a contract extension, but the Colts have yet to make any offer.

Irsay reportedly told reporters that the Colts are not planning on extending Taylor at the moment as he enters the last year on his deal.

“If I die tonight and Jonathan Taylor is out of the leagues, no one’s going to miss us,” Irsay said, “The league goes on.”

Over his career, Taylor has amassed 3,841 yards, 33 touchdowns and 802 receiving yards on 104 receptions and three receiving touchdowns.
