WALL, TX — Three Concho Valley high school and middle school coaches earned recognition for their work with student-athletes recently from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Organization. Kim Schwartz, Robynn Jones, and Taylor Howie received the Concho Valley FCA Huddle Coaches of the Year.
According to their website, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an organization that “works to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.” Founded in 1954, FCA has programs affecting coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high, and youth levels. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire, and change the world through the gospel.
The organization made the announcement on the Concho Valley FCA Facebook page. “Congratulations to the Concho Valley FCA Huddle Coaches of the Year! Kim Schwartz, Robynn Jones, and Taylor Howie…thank you for pouring into the kids at Wall High School and Wall Middle School!”
