FRISCO, TX — The official dates for the Dallas Cowboys 2023 Training Camp were released on Wednesday. Less than a month now remains until the players are expected to report to Oxnard, California, on July 24. This offseason will be the 17th Training Camp held at Oxnard and the 44th year that the Cowboys held training camp in California.
According to the Dallas Cowboys’ website, the 2023 Training Camp will be held at Oxnard Residence Inn at River Ridge (2101 Vineyard Ave), with fans free to attend all open practices free of charge. The first workout will begin at 11:30 a.m. PST on July 26 and will run through Tuesday, August 15. Public entry will open two hours prior to practice.
Training camp in Oxnard will be highlighted by the annual camp opening ceremony/special fan event - Cowboys Back Together Weekend - as the team welcomes fans back to training camp on Saturday, July 29. The event begins at 9 a.m. PST. Fans can enjoy live music, appearances by Cowboys Alumni, the Dallas Cowboys’ Mascot, Rowdy, a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders autograph signing, exclusive merchandise, prizes, giveaways, and more. The opening ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. PST and will include a performance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and remarks from Cowboys Owner, President, and General Manager Jerry Jones before the 11:30 a.m. PST open practice session.
On Monday, August 7, the team will host a Heroes Appreciation Day to show their gratitude towards military personnel and first responders. Training camp in Oxnard will conclude on Tuesday, August 15th, before the Cowboys depart for their preseason match-up in Seattle on Saturday, August 19.
