Angelo State Baseball Wins National Championship

 

CARY, NC — The Angelo State baseball team won its first NCAA Division II National Championship in program history defeating beating the Rollins College Tars 6-5 on Saturday at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.

For the first time in the school's history, the Angelo State University baseball team won the NCAA DII National Championship. The Angelo State finishes the season with a 56-9 record and Rollins finishes with 42-19.
