Games played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington are in BOLD.

The Cowboys start off the season with a familiar foe in the Giants. In fact, since 2010, the Cowboys have faced the Giants in Week 1 six times. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is 10-2 against the Giants and hasn’t lost to New York since 2016.

In Week 2, the Cowboys will again play a familiar face, one that usually sent them home in the playoffs. Dallas will host Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets at AT&T Stadium. The Jets are an up-and-coming team who have the reigning offensive and defensive rookie of the year (Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson) on their roster.

Week 3 will more than likely be a rollercoaster as the Cowboys have trouble when traveling out to the desert to take on the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals will have a new head coach after Kliff Kingsbury was sent packing.

Bill “Darth Hoodie” Belichick and the New England Patriots come to town in Week 4. This will be the second time the Cowboys take on Patriots quarterback Mac Jones since beating him, Belichick, and the Patriots in overtime in 2021.

Week 5 features a historic rival when the Cowboys fly over to Santa Clara to play the San Francisco 49ers. The Cowboys have had two consecutive seasons end at the hands of San Fran.

In Week 6, Dallas takes on the team that blew a 27-point lead to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the playoffs last season, even though no one seems to mention it. Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will have a second go of things against the Cowboys after losing to Dallas a few seasons ago.

Week 7 is the Cowboy’s bye week. Factoring in training camp and preseason, a week seven bye week is probably about halfway through the year.

The Cowboys come off their bye week to take on the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams came off a Super Bowl victory last season only to underwhelm through the season. The Cowboys plays the Rams last season and won 22-10 after All-World defensive superstar Micah Parsons teed off against Ram’s quarterback Matthew Stafford at the end of the game.

Week 9, the Cowboys take on hated rival the Philadelphia Eagles. Prescott is 8-3 against the Eagles who last season, had one of the best defensive lines in the league, along with two great corners, two feared wide receivers, a top tight end, and a great offensive line only to fumble the Super Bowl away to the Kansas City Chiefs. Also, the Eagles lost both their offensive and defensive coordinators this offseason.

In Week 10, the Cowboys will play the New York Giants again, who Prescott owns.

Week 11, the Cowboys will play one of the worst teams in the league last season in the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers could be starting 2023 first-overall draft pick Bryce Young at quarterback.

On Thanksgiving, the Cowboys will play the Commanders at AT&T Stadium. Again, Prescott owns the division, as he has a 9-2 record against the Commanders/Football Team.

To round out November, the Cowboys play the Seattle Seahawks. Quarterback Geno Smith found new life in Seattle, who are very far removed from the “Legion of Boom” but have two young, talented cornerbacks.

The Cowboys play the Eagles again in Week 14 to kick off December. Eagle’s quarterback Jalen Hurts signed a huge contract this offseason, after having one of the easiest schedules in the league last season.

In Week 15, the Cowboys play another historic rival, the Buffalo Bills. One might not know this, but in the last 33 starts for both Prescott and Bill’s quarterback Josh Allen, both signal callers have thrown 29 interceptions. Only one gets mentions all the time while the other is consistently in the running for NFL MVP.

Dallas will take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 16. The Dolphins were making headlines last season after quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a serious concussion. Should Tua be good-to-go, the Dolphins could be a scary team with deadly speed outside in receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Protect your kneecaps as in Week 17, Lions head coach Dan Campbell will try to take a bite out of them. This isn’t your father’s Lions team and have found new life under Campbell.

To finish off the regular season, the Cowboys once again play the Washington Commanders. If Washington could get their quarterback situation figured out, they could be a force.

The Cowboys will play Christmas Eve and Thanksgiving. Dallas also has five primetime games not including the annual Thanksgiving game. The lease could add another primetime game in Week 18 when the Cowboys face off against the Commanders.

As for player safety, the Cowboys are playing four games in less than 20 days between November 12 and November 30.

It doesn’t matter who or when the Cowboys play, they have reservations at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024. Of course, it all depends on what the 2023 NFL Script says.
