This Former Cowboys QB is Trying to Play for the Broncos

DENVER, CO – Former Dallas Cowboy QB Ben DiNucci will get another shot at making it in the NFL after the Denver Broncos announced they would be giving him a tryout.

DiNucci was selected by the Cowboys in the 7th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. DiNucci would go on to play in three games that year. One of those games was a start.

For his NFL career he went 23 for 43 with no TDs or INTs. He did have two fumbles on 7 sacks. Because of this DiNucci was placed on Memes that went viral across the internet.

DiNucci was eventually waived in 2022. From there he entered the XFL Draft and was selected by the Seattle Sea Dragons. During the XFL's 2022 season, DiNucci threw for 20 TDs in 10 games.

Now DiNucci, and a handful of other XFL athletes, have been called to the NFL for tryouts.

Fist day of OTA's is May 22 with the first day of Minicamp on Jun. 6.
