BUSHLAND, TX — Bushland High School’s Softball Coach, John Blair, has resigned following his arrest on Friday, April 28. According to jail and police records, he is being charged with soliciting a prostitute.

Per Lubbock County Detention Center records, Blair was booked on Saturday and released on bond Sunday. The police department confirms the arrest was part of a larger undercover, multi-agency sting operation in which more than 20 arrests were made.

Blair, 58, was in his first season with the Bushland Lady Falcons. Bushland, who is currently in the playoffs, will play their Area matchup against Littlefield in a best-of-three series without their Head Coach on Thursday, May 4.
