WHITEHOUSE, TX — Super Bowl Champion quarterback Patrick Mahomes just gave his almamater a huge surprise just weeks after speaking at an event in east Texas.
Mahomes originally visited on April 1 to speak at the ‘Evening with Patrick Mahomes’ event hosted by the East Texas Speakers Forum where he took part in a Q&A with more than 1500 people in attendance. He spent time at his alma mater, speaking with the football team and coaches before he left.
On Thursday, April 20, Mahomes had another gift for his old football team. According to Whitehouse ISD’s Facebook page, players on the football team received all new Adidas shoes. The Super Bowl Champion and Texas Tech Red Raider made sure to put a smile on every face on that football team.

Mahomes graduated from Whitehouse High School back in 2014. He led the Wildcats to a 22-3 overall record in his years as a starter before attending Texas Tech University after that. It seems that the NFL MVP, Super Bowl Champion, and Super Bowl MVP still remembers where he came from and loves to give back. Whitehouse ISD had just one message to the Kansas City Chief.
“Thank you Patrick Mahomes, Adidas, and 1UP Sports Marketing! You all are amazing!”
