Lake View Soccer Claims Outright District Title

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Lake View Chiefs Boys’ Soccer team clinched their first outright district title since 2019 with a 7-1 victory over the Andrews Mustangs in San Angelo on Tuesday night. The Chiefs sit comfortably in first place in District 2-4A with an 18-0-1 overall record and a perfect 10-0 record in district play with two games to go before playoffs.

On Tuesday, the Chiefs ran up the score on the Mustangs and dominated Andrews throughout the contest. Lake View scored four goals in the first half and added three more in the second. Senior Midfielder JV Antu led the Chiefs in scoring with two goals, one in the first half and one in the second half.

Lake View travels to Lubbock on Friday, March 10, to play Lubbock Estacado at 6 p.m. before finishing their season at home on Tuesday, March 14, against Midland Greenwood in San Angelo. The Chiefs are prepped and ready for a deep playoff run this season.
