COVER1: High School Baseball Tournament Preview

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Several San Angelo High School Baseball teams compete in tournaments this weekend, March 9-11. here are the matchups and dates.

CENTRAL BOBCATS

The Bobcats head north to Lubbock on Thursday to play six games in three days in an annual Lubbock tournament hosted by Lubbock ISD from Thursday, March 9, to Saturday, March 11. The ‘Cats open up with two games on Thursday against El Paso Coronado and Chapin. On Friday, Central battles El Paso Eastlake and El Dorado before playing their final two games against Lubbock Estacado and El Paso Pebble Hills on Saturday. 

LAKE VIEW CHIEFS

The Chiefs travel to Big Spring on Thursday, March 9, to play the Slayton Tigers at noon. They turn around and head to Midland on Friday, March 10, to play in a tournament. They face off with Midland Greenwood on Friday at 1:30 p.m. On Saturday, they have a doubleheader against Midland High’s Junior Varsity at 9 a.m. and then Lamesa at noon. 

TLCA EAGLES

The TLCA Eagles host a baseball tournament in San Angelo this weekend. The Tournament begins on Thursday, March 9, and concludes on Saturday, March 11. The Eagles went 3-1 last week at the Buffalo Diamond Classic in Stanton.
