SAN ANGELO— The Eldorado Lady Eagles beat the Miles Lady Bulldogs at the Junell Center in San Angelo last night.
The Lady Eagles started off hot and put up 20 points in the first to the Lady Bulldogs’ eight. Robbi Martinez for the Lady Eagles proved to be unstoppable as she put up 15 points in the opening quarter and continued her dominance in the second by adding nine points before the half.
The Lady Bulldogs seemed shell-shocked but tried to claw out of the hole they had dug themselves. Heading into the locker rooms at half time, the Lady Eagles were up 33-18.
Things calmed down in the second half as the Lady Eagles put up 13 points combined in the third and fourth quarters, and the Lady Bulldogs put up nine points.
