ABILENE, TX — The San Angelo Central Bobcats Gymnastics team traveled to Abilene this week to compete in the Abilene ISD versus Wylie and San Angelo Central Gymnastics meet. The ladies competed against Abilene High, Abilene Cooper, and Abilene Wylie on Thursday, Feb. 9, and came home with another overall victory.

The Lady Cats swept the top three in all but the Vault event on their way to a team victory with a total score of 109.9 points. Abilene Wylie came in a distant second with 94.3 points. Abilene Cooper came in third with 90.75 points, and Abilene High finished fourth with 90.25 points.
McKinley Nile also won the girls’ all-around with a total score of 34.85 points. Kara Baker placed in the top 10 while only competing in three of four events. Her three first-place finishes in the events she competed in were incredibly impressive.

The Bobcats won the team overall with 143.4 points. Logan Kypfer also won the boys’ all-around with 49.7 points.
Central returns to action on Feb. 24 when both teams travel to Odessa to take on the Permian Panthers and the Odessa High Bronchos.
