Irion County High School Football Playoff Matchup Moved to Saturday

MERTZON — The 2022 UIL Texas High School Football Quarterfinal matchup between the Irion County Hornets (11-0) and the Jonesboro Eagles (12-1) has changed dates. The Hornets will now play the Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m. in Early.

Per the Irion County Booster club, the team sendoff will be in the Estes Gym Parking lot at Irion County High School at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26.

The Rankin Red Devils and the Westbrook Wildcats' matchup is also moved to Saturday, Nov. 26, in Robert Lee, at 5 p.m.
