San Angelo Central 'Cats Basketball Off to a Good Start

 

SAN ANGELO, TX —  San Angelo Central High School Basketball teams saw action over the past week. The Bobcats (2-0) played in Del Rio against the Del Rio Rams (0-2) Tuesday, Nov. 15. The Lady Cats (1-2) traveled to Maston to play the Mason Cowgirls (1-1) last Friday, Nov. 11.

 

Central Boys Basketball

The Bobcats remain undefeated as they down the Rams 68-51 behind 16 points from Kollin Albright, 10 points from Hayden Schmidt, and 10 points from Jacob English. The Bobcats’ leading Wide Receiver rejoined the basketball team after the conclusion of the football season last week. 

The JV Bobcats beat the Rams 59-30.

The Freshman Team lost to the Rams 47-45.

The Bobcats play their next game on Tuesday, Nov. 22, against Abilene High in Abilene at 3:30 p.m.

 

Central Girls Basketball

The Lady Cats punched their first win of the ‘22-’23 basketball season 49-35 against the Cowgirls in Mason Friday night, Nov 11.  With their first victory, Central improved to 1-2 on the season. 

The Lady Cats (1-2) travel to Snyder on Thursday, Nov. 17, to take on the Snyder Tigers (1-2) at 5 p.m.
