Dallas Cowboys Player a Person of Interest in Murder Investigation

ARLINGTON, TX – A current Dallas Cowboys football player is reportedly a person of interest in a murder investigation.

According to the Dallas Police Department, investigators want to speak with cornerback Kelvin Joseph, a 2nd round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, about a murder last month in East Dallas.

According to reports, Joseph was involved in an altercation outside the OT Tavern, located at Greenville Avenue and Martel Avenue, where a fight broke out between two groups of people. Surveillance footage shows a man in a hoodie with a necklace with the letters “YKDV” with a group of people. That group was seen on video getting into a fight with a few others outside the bar.

After the fight ended, Cameron Ray and his friends were walking across the parking lot when someone shot at them from inside a passing vehicle. Ray was struck and later pronounced dead at a local hospital at about 2:00 a.m.

The necklace featuring the letters “YKDV” is the connection to Kelvin Joseph. Joseph is also a rapper who goes by the stage name “YKDV Bossman Fat”.

The Cowboys are encouraging Joseph to speak with police.
