ARLINGTON, TX- The Dallas Cowboys have made another signing that is bound to make fans happy.
The Cowboys came to terms with safety Jayron Kearse on a two-year, $10 million deal after having a stellar season with the team.
Last offseason, Kearse signed with the Cowboys on a 1-year, prove-it deal worth $1.1 million. He took that deal and turned in a great season and was the Cowboys leading tackler on a revamped defense.
Originally a 2016 7th round draft pick, Kearse bounced around the NFL from Minnesota, Detroit, and the Ravens but had a career best year with Dan Quinn in Dallas and played a key role in helping turn around a unit that was one of the worst in the league in 2020.
Kearse had 101 tackles, 10 quarterback pressures, 10 pass deflections, 7 tackles-for-loss, 2 interceptions, a fumble recovery, and a sack last season.
