Texans Trade Quarterback for King's Ransom

CLEVELAND, OH- The Cleveland Browns are in agreement to trade a king's ransom to the Texans for a quarterback.

According to NFL sources, the Cleveland Browns are trading for Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson in a blockbuster deal.

Watson has waived his no trade clause in his current contract to go to the Cleveland Browns who will give him a new contract. His new contract fully guaranteed at 5-years, $230 million.

The deal includes the Browns sending 3-1st round picks, a 3rd round pick and a swap of late round picks to the Texans.

Watson came under fire last year when 22 masseuses accused him of sexually misconduct. He sat all season but just recently found out he would not face criminal charges. That does not mean the NFL cannot suspend Watson.

Current Brown’s quarterback Baker Mayfield is expected to be traded.
