Texas A&M Upset No. 4 Auburn in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinal

 

TAMPA, TX – The Texas A&M Aggies Mens Basketball Team upset the No . 4 team in the country, the Auburn Tigers, on Friday in the Quarterfinal round of the SEC tournament.

The Aggies started the game hot and had 37-21 lead at the half way point. Despite a major push by the Tigers, A&M held on and won the game 67-21.

The team was led by sophomore Henry Coleman III's 16 points, junior Tyrece Radford's 19 points and senior Quenton Jackson's 17 points.

The Aggies are the eighth seed in the SEC tournament and the Tigers were the first seed.

This is the second win in a row for the Aggies after beating the Florida Gators on Thursday off of a buzzer beater in over time. Check out the highlight below.

A&M will now play the winner of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the LSU Tigers. That game will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.
