SAN ANGELO, TX – The 2022 schedule for Angelo State football has been announced as the Rams look to build off of last year after one of the most successful seasons in program history.
The Rams open the season at home against Chadron State on Sept. 3 before traveling for a rematch of the 2021 NCAA Super Region 4 Final against Colorado School of Mines on Sept. 10.
With the addition of Western Oregon, Central Washington and Simon Fraser into the Lone Star Conference as associate members, the Rams will play nine conference games. LSC action will begin on the road for ASU as the Rams travel to UT Permian Basin on Sept. 17.
The Rams will also be making the long trip to Canada to face Simon Fraser as well as facing Western Oregon on the road for their two longest trips of the season.
ASU will host West Texas A&M, Eastern New Mexico, and Texas A&M – Kingsville before closing the home slate of games against Central Washington on Nov. 5.
