Playoff Implications on the Line for Week 11 of Texas High School Football

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Texas High School Football is coming to an end as the last week of the regular season starts tonight.

Grape Creek (-12) vs. Ingram Moore 

Tonight will be a memory that will last forever in Northern Tom Green County. For the first time in school history, the Eagles have a chance at winning a district championship. Currently, in the district, Grape Creek, Sonora, and Brady are all 3-1. Grape Creek defeated Sonora last week but lost to Brady a week before. Brady's district loss came against Sonora. With a Sonora and Brady loss the Eagles will win outright but either way with the win the team will split the district championship. Currently, in the playoff seeding, they are in second. The Sonora Broncos will be fighting for their life tonight. They currently have the top seed in the district but have two other teams tied for first as well. Grape Creek will be playing the last-place team in the district, Ingram Moore, while Brady will be playing a 1-7 Bangs team. This historic rivalry will more than likely be filled with rushing touchdowns from the Little Southwest Conference favorite for MVP Makhilyn Young. This game will either be a slugfest or a blowout.
