Odessa Permian Finds New Opponent for Friday Night Game

ODESSA – Two high school football teams that had their original games canceled will square off against each other instead.

Odessa Permian (2-1) had the game against Stellar Prep canceled and left them searching for an opponent for Friday night. No reason was given for that cancellation.

Permian found that new opponent in the form of the Mesquite Poteet Pirates (3-1) from the Dallas area.

The Pirates had their original game canceled as well.

The Odessa Permian Panthers will face off against the Mesquite Poteet Pirates at Ratliff Stadium on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at 7 p.m.
