CARY, NC – The Angelo State University Rams have advanced yet again and remain in the winner’s bracket at the D-II Baseball National Championship.
The Rams defeated Seton Hill, 9-4, to advance to the next round.
The game started off slow with a scoreless first two innings. In the third, the Rams would take the lead 2-0 with scores by Bramlett and Elvir.
The fourth inning would put the Rams even further in the lead scoring 4 runs turning the lead into 6-0.
Over the next two innings the Rams went scoreless and Seton Hill scored 4 runs only for the Rams to get 3 runs in the 8th.
This win puts the Rams overall record at 44-7 and will play next on Thursday, June 10th and will play the winner of Seton Hill and Wingate.
