Cowboys Great Jason Witten Hired as Head Coach

 

ARGYLE, TX – Former Dallas Cowboy Superstar Jason Witten has announced that he will be stepping away from the playing field and will be the next head coach of Argyle Liberty Christian High School. 

Jason Witten played college football at the University of Tennessee. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2003 and played 15 seasons with them. During which he made the Pro Bowl 11 times. 

Witten then retired and though he found his calling in the broadcasting booth. One year later he returned to the field and played the 2019 season for the Cowboys. This past season Witten played for the newly relocated team, the Las Vegas Raiders. After the conclusion of the season he once again announced his retirement. 

Now Witten will continue his journey on the football field by coaching Texas High School Football.

Argyle Liberty Christian went 2-7 last season and finished near the bottom of the district.
