Eastland Cancels Football Games After COVID-19 Outbreak

EASTLAND, TX – The Eastland ISD varsity and JV football games have been canceled this Friday after the school had an outbreak of COVID-19.

According to the Eastland Independent School District, on Sept. 15, due to the number of COVID 19 diagnoses, as well as the number of student athletes who are out with COVID 19 symptoms, Eastland ISD has determined it is in the best interest of all parties involved to cancel the junior varsity as well as the varsity football games scheduled for September 17th and 18th.

This is the third consecutive week that games have been canceled due to the coronavirus.
