SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo ISD announced the new head girl's volleyball coach for the Central Lady Cats.
According to San Angelo ISD, Ms. Julie Williams will serve as Central High School’s new Head Volleyball Coach officially replacing coach Connie Bozarth who is retiring at the end of this school year.
Coach Williams comes to SAISD with 17 years of educational experience serving as a classroom teacher, assistant volleyball coach, and head volleyball and track coach. As a head volleyball coach, Williams led her teams to the 5A Regional Finals and Quarter Finals three times. Many of Coach Williams’ former players have received district recognition and have gone on to play collegiate volleyball.
Coach Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lubbock Christian University (2004). While attending LCU, Williams was named an All-American, second all-time on the LCU kill list, third on the LCU all-time assist block list, first-team all-conference, and first-team all-region.
Coach Williams will begin her new role on April 27, 2020 and will be working through our virtual learning platform.
San Angelo ISD is excited to welcome Coach Williams to our team.
