LAS VEGAS, NV — San Angelo native Ty Harris finished with his third no-time of the National Finals rodeo Thursday. He was one of four to do so. Shad Mayfield, Adam Gray, and Marty Yates were the others.
Cooper Martin, Tyler Milligan, and Riley Pruitt all walked away with $20,871.79 after tying for first place with a 7.50 time.
Riley Pruitt narrowed the gap between him and Shane Hanchey significantly. Hanchey finished out of the money for the second day in the row, and Pruitt's payday put him $6,328.38 behind Hanchey for second place.
Hanchey has $209,927.69, and Pruitt has $203,599.31.
Milligan surpassed Harris for third place. He has $186,307.36, and Harris is in fourth place with $173,437.91. There are four cowboys behind Harris with at least $165,000.
The next two rounds could see a lot of movement, and several cowboys have a chance of being crowned world champion.
The final two rounds will take place on Friday and Saturday night.
