SAN ANTONIO, TX — The Wimberley Texans kept their four game win streak alive with a statement victory over the previously unbeaten Navarro Panthers.
Wimberley came out of the gate and scored 21 points in the first quarter. The early, three possession deficit was a shock to Navarro fans and players alike. Just six weeks earlier, the Panthers had done to Wimberley what was currently being done to them. Navarro beat them 42-14 on their way to a 13-4A DII District Championship.
