SAN ANTONIO, TX — The Chaparrals and Broncos were tied at 7 after their first offensive possessions in Friday night's game in San Antonio, but from that point on, it was all Westlake.
Quarterback Kirkland Michaux picked apart the Brandeis defense in all phases of the game. The senior had two passing touchdowns, both to his big 6'3 receiver Jaden Greathouse, and two more on the ground.
Junior running back Zane Minors added two more rushing touchdowns in the second half to really put this one away.

Westlake will play the winner of Saturday afternoon’s Cy Creek and Katy Taylor game next week in the 6A DII Semifinal.
