Tony the Tiger Officially in the Rio Grande

 

EL PASO, TX -- The historic bowl game that has been held for over fifty years has been renamed after a popular Tiger. 

According to Sunbowl.org, the Sun Bowl has received a new sponsor and will now be know as the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl. 

The game, hosted on New Year's Eve, will be top teams from the ACC and the Pac-12. 

The first Sun Bowl was held on January 1, 1935 and has been played every year since.
