Wall Jumps to #2 in the State, Mason/Others Solidy Spot in Newest Rankings

SAN ANGELO, TX — Dave Campbell's Texas Football announce their newest rankings Monday, and high school football fans across the state saw the Wall Hawks jump up to #2 in Class 3A Division I.

The move from their #3 spot last week was due entirely to their impressive win against previously unbeaten Jim Ned in Tuscola.  Last week's #2, Malakoff, dropped to 3 despite a 72-0 win.

As for other area teams, Mason remained planted at #10 in 2A Division I.  Wall's opponent this week, Eastland, moved all the way up to #7 after beating winless Breckenridge 76-28.  They were ranked #10.

From around the region and teams of interest:

6A - #19 Midland Lee, #25 Euless Trinity

5A DI - #9 Abilene Cooper

4A DI - #6 Brownwood

4A DII - #4 Midland Greenwood

3A DII - #7 Cisco

2A DI - #3 San Saba

1A/Six Man - #8 Sterling City
