State Sendoff for Wall Hawks Set for Thursday

 

WALL, TX -- The top-ranked Wall Hawks are headed back to the state baseball tournament for the next time and the community encourages you to show your support.

The team will leave for Round Rock on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. Fans wishing to show their support can show up before then and line the street in front the old elementary school to send the Hawks off.

The Hawks advanced to the state tournament with a 20-1 win over Brock in the third game of their regional final series on Friday, May 31. 

Wall (37-1) is scheduled to play Kirbyville (33-7-1) at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The winner will advance to the state championship on Saturday.
