SAN ANGELO, TX -- As the area round of playoffs begins to close, only one team remains in the playoffs by way of a three-game series.
Winters lost their first game against Haskell and will need to win two games in a row to advance to the regional quarterfinal.
Last night, Mason, Miles and Wall each lost one game playoffs.

Class 3A

- Stamford 8, Miles 1
- Winters (18-7) vs Haskell (22-9-1): Game 1: Haskell 17, Winters 7; Game 2: May 3, 5:00 p.m.; Game 3: 30 minutes after Game 2 (if nec.). All games at Hermleigh
