Central Girls Book Regional Quarterfinal Place in Penalty Shootout

 

ABILENE, TX -- The Central Lady Cats are on to the regional quarterfinals after beating regional rival Odessa Permian in a penalty shootout on Tuesday.

The Lady Cats and Permian finished regular time level at 1-1. Kelsey Wallace had the lone goal for Central.

Central then prevailed 5-4 in the penalty shootout.

The Lady Cats (19-0-5) will face Arlington High in the regional quarterfinal. A site and time has yet to be announced.

Arlington won District 4-6A and has beaten Fort Worth Richland and Odessa High in the first two rounds of playoffs.
