Chiefs, Maidens Pass Area Round Test

MIDLAND, TX -- Both the Lake View Chiefs and Maidens pulled out narrow wins to claim the area championship on Monday at Midland's Grande Communications Stadium.

They both beat Clint Mountain View 1-0 to claim the area championship and book their spots in the regional quarterfinals.

The Chiefs (9-8) will face the winner of Clint and Canyon. The Maidens (11-5-1) will also face one of those two schools in the regional quarterfinal.
