Concho Valley Softball Standings: Field Nipping at Ballinger's Heels

SAN ANGELO, TX -- With spring break over, the action on the softball diamond is heating up for area teams.

After starting district play with two losses, the Wall Lady Hawks are now in playoff contention and just two games behind District 4-3A leader Ballinger along with Grape Creek. Brady is in second, just one game behind Ballinger.

Ballinger held their spot at the top with a win over Reagan County on Friday.

District 6-2A, the home of Miles and Winters, opens up play this week. The two Concho Valley representatives will square off to start district play.

Here are the softball standings as of March 18:

District 3-6A
