SAN ANGELO, TX -- After making playoffs for the first time since 2017, Lake View's season was recognized in the form of All-District honors.
The Chiefs finished fourth in their new home of District 5-4A to make their first playoff appearance in two years. Because of that, five Chiefs were selected for All-District honors.
Ahmad Daniels was selected as the only Chief to the first team honors. Daniels averaged 10.9 points per game in 30 games played. The senior guard also had a team-high 44 made three-pointers.
Also making the list were Dylan Hart, Ryan Avalos, Johnny Espinosa and Kendall Blue.
The overall MVP went to Snyder's Alonzo Wesley. Midland Greenwood's Jordan Riley was named Offensive Player of the Year while Snyder's Teafale Leonard won Defensive Player of the Year. Newcomer of the year went to Big Spring's Kyler Seymour.
