Angelo State Cheerleading Wins Second Consecutive National Title

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Angelo State University Cheer Team received their second consecutive national title on Sunday.

The cheer team traveled to California to compete against in the Large Co-ed Four Year University.

The final results of the competition is as followed:

  1. Angelo State University
  2. New Mexico State University
  3. Idaho State University
  4. University of Wyoming

Unlike most sports in college, the cheer team is not apart of the NCAA. Instead they are apart of the United Spirit Association.
