MANSFIELD, TX -- The San Angelo Christian Academy Sea Lions swim team put their best foot forward at the TAPPS Division III swim meet on Wednesday.
All four members competing in the meet posted personal best times at the Mansfield ISD Natatorium on Wednesday.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Gray Lusk, Josh Mayben, Ethan Flores and Pietro Pierleoni turned in a time of 1 minute, 52.01 seconds for 10th place. All four legs turned in personal best times. Pierleoni highlighted the run by finishing his leg in 25.80 seconds.
Pierleoni also turned in another personal best with a time of 2:08.69 in the 200-yard freestyle. That was good for ninth place.
The Italian foreign exchange student also posted a time of 57.69 seconds, another personal best, in the 100-yard freestyle, taking 11th place.
Gray Lusk placed 10th in the 200-yard individual medley with a personal best time of 2:44.81.
