Local Karate Dojo Performed Well At A.O.K State Championship

 

SAN ANGELO,TX-- The Karate Institute of San Angelo competed in the Amateur Organization of Karate (A.O.K.) in Galveston the weekend of Dec. 16, 2018.

Nine individuals went to Galveston to try and earn the top spot, and five of them are now state champions. The other four did go home with a 2nd or 3rd place medals as well.

The karateka's did two types of events sparring, or where two individuals use their skills on one another, and form.
