Water Valley Dominates Area TGCA All-State Selections

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The Texas Girl's Coaches Association recently released their All-State volleyball teams and there was a local flair to the selections.

The selections included 25 athletes from the Concho Valley in the All-State and Academic All-State teams.

Leading the charge were the Water Valley Lady Wildcats with eight players named by the TGCA.

Senior Kenzie Jordan was the only Lady Wildcat named to both teams after a dominant year leading Water Valley to the state championship in Garland. Jordan got Water Valley to the championship match with a triple-double in the state semifinal. Because of her leadership and dominance, she was named to our All-Concho Valley volleyball team.

Jordan is set to sign to continue her athletic career at Angelo State University.

Water Valley's other All-State selections were juniors Chesney Baker, Baily Dawson and and Kirstyn Greebon along with sophomore Kalysta Minton-Holland.
