ASU Co-Ed Flag Football Going to Nationals

 

SAN ANGELO, TX-- Co-ed flag football team at Angelo State University will be headed to a National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association National Flag Football Championships, according to ASU.

Defending champs, IM Legends, will be playing in Pensacola, FL. in January. IM Legends defeated a team from the University of North Texas, 28-16.

Luke Dancy of Wall, Lindsey Englehart of Aztec, N.M., and Shannon Thompson of Seguin were named to the Co-Rec All-Tournament Team. The following are other players on the roster, Izzabella Bluso of San Angelo, Miguel Castillo of Mason, Julian Helms of Grandfalls, Malik Jones of Cedar Park, Jacie Klose of Haskell, Matthew Lowry of San Angelo, Jake Meyers of Big Lake, Lexey Parker of Bertram, Justin Rhodes of Killeen, Stefani Richardson of McKinney,and Charles Tapia of Odessa.
