Memorial Stadium Renamed After Former MISD Trainer

MIDLAND, TX-- “James Doc Dodson Midland Memorial Stadium” will be the name of the previous memorial stadium in Midland after MISD school board approved the renaming on Monday, according to Newswest 9.

They have decided to rename the stadium, in honor of former Midland High trainer, Mr. Dodson's passing this past fall.

Dodson was the head athletic trainer for Midland high for 32 years. He also was at the 1972 Olympic Games serving as a trainer for US kayak team in Munich.
