WALL, TX-- After losing to Sonora on Saturday, the Wall Lady Hawks got back on track with a sweep of the TLCA Lady Eagles on Tuesday.
Wall won 25-19, 25-21 and 25-21 to improve to 19-13 overall and 2-1 in District 4-3A.
Leading the way offensively for the Lady Hawks was Kylie Phillips with eight kills.
Rylee Luther had 17 assists for the Lady Hawk offense. Tatum Granzin posted 10 assists as well for Wall.
Candra Barnett had a team-high 15 digs in the win. Phillips completed her double-double with 13 digs for the Lady Hawks.
Wall will travel to Grape Creek Saturday. TLCA travels to Brady this Saturday.
Sonora Dominates Brady to Remain Undefeated in District Play
The Sonora Lady Broncos picked up where they left off on Saturday with another win at home on Tuesday.
Sonora beat Brady 25-6, 25-11 and 25-10 in Sutton County on Tuesday. The Lady Broncos improve to 15-13 overall and 2-0 in District 4-3A.
Mary Kyle Johnson once again led the Lady Bronco offense with seven kills. Kaitlyn Gann posted five kills for Sonora in the win.
The Lady Broncos also posted five service aces in the win. Karah Martinez led the category with two to her name.
Camille Harris dug out seven attacks against Brady to lead Sonora's defense.
Sonora hosts Reagan County on Saturday while Brady hosts TLCA on Saturday.
