District 3 brings a lot of competition and every team is a legitimate playoff contender.
However, the Hawks will rely on their winning tradition and tough preseason to replace an experienced group lost to graduation. Those two factors should be enough to get them their eighth-straight district championship.
It will not come easy, though.
Breckenridge proved they were the real deal last year, claiming a district championship for the first time in 12 years. They defeated Brock on the final day of the regular season to capture that title.
Jim Ned, much like Wall, is a tradition-rich program and will always be a contender.
Eastland gave Wall some fits in their 2017 meeting before the Hawks blew the doors open in that game.
Clyde and Early both look to have solid teams that are capable of winning games and reaking havoc on the district, as well.
