SAN ANGELO, TX-- Texas Tech head football coach Kliff Kingsbury will be in San Angelo next month.
Sources tell San Angelo LIVE! the six-year head of Texas Tech football will speak to the Concho Valley Chapter of the Texas Tech Alumni Association at a luncheon on June 13. The luncheon will take place at Zentner's Daughter Steakhouse at noon. Tickets for the luncheon are $12.
Kingsbury's luncheon will take place the day after Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher is slated to speak to the San Angelo Area Aggies at the same venue.
This takes place during the 45th Annual Angelo Football Clinic. Kingsbury, along with the entire Texas Tech coaching staff, will be a part of a question and answer session after Texas Tech defensive coordinator David Gibbs speaks at the clinic on June 13.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban is also scheduled to speak, but only at the Angelo Football Clinic on June 13.
Texas Tech has plenty of experience with San Angelo, former Bobcats Eli and Henry Howard currently play for Kingsbury and Central quarterback Maverick McIvor recently received an offer from the Red Raiders. Former Bobcat pitcher Davis Martin is also a staple in the Red Raider baseball team.
