Concho Valley Softball Pairings: Area Round

SAN ANGELO, TX-- After the first week of softball playoffs, five Concho Valley teams made it to the Area Round.

Ballinger, Junction and Wall won their Bi-District pairings while Mason and Miles enjoyed byes in the first round of playoffs.

Here are their playoff pairings:

Class 3A

  • Wall Lady Hawks vs Idalou Lady Wildcats at Snyder: Game One: Wall 6-1 Idalou.; Game Two: Wall 20-7 Idalou. Wall advances 2-0
  • Ballinger Lady Bearcats vs Amarillo River Road Lady Wildcats at Lubbock Cooper: Game One: River Road 9-2 Ballinger; Game Two: River Road 19-1 Ballinger. Ballinger Eliminated 2-0

Class 2A

  • Mason Cowgirls vs Petrolia Lady Pirates at Trent: Game One: Petrolia 10-0 Mason; Game Two Saturday, May 5, at 11 a.m.; Game Three*: 30 minutes after game two
  • Miles Lady Bulldogs vs Windthorst Trojanettes: Game One: Windthorst 13-3 Miles; Game Two: Windthorst 13-0 Miles. Miles Eliminated
  • Junction Lady Eagles vs Hawley Lady Bearcats at Junction: Hawley 12-2 Junction. Junction eliminated.
