Weather Forces Postponement of Reagan County-Wall Matchups

BIG LAKE, TX-- The recent rain has forced another game change, this time with the Reagan County and Wall baseball and softball teams.

The Reagan County Athletics Department page made the announcement just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday via their Facebook page.

"Due to the rain, the district softball and baseball games scheduled [in Big Lake] today against Wall have been moved to tomorrow," the department said in their statement. The statement went on to say that tomorrow will feature varsity squads only with both games starting at 5 p.m.

The baseball matchup pits the fifth-ranked Hawks (15-4-1, 2-0) against the 25th-ranked Owls (13-4, 1-1). On the softball side, the Lady Hawks (12-4, 3-0) will look to remain unbeaten while the Lady Owls (4-5, 2-1) will look to pull even in the District 4-3A standings.
