Grape Creek-Sonora Baseball and Softball Games Switched Due to Rain

SONORA, TX-- Grape Creek doesn't have to answer Creedence Clearwater Revival because they saw quite a bit of rain from the latest round of showers to hit the Concho Valley.

There was enough rainfall from last night that Grape Creek and Sonora have agreed to play their scheduled game in Sonora, at Sutton County Park, instead of in Grape Creek.

Field conditions at Grape Creek High School were not suitable for play so the teams agreed to swap home games.

Today's baseball game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. first pitch while softball is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.

The Broncos (3-5, 0-2) and Lady Broncos (9-8, 1-2) will travel to Grape Creek on Tuesday, April 17, to face the Eagles (1-7, 0-2) and the Lady Eagles (12-4, 1-2).
